OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson University men's basketball team trimmed a 21-point second-half deficit to five with 2:45 remaining, but visiting Lebanon Valley held on for a 77-66 MAC Commonwealth victory at Owings Mills Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.

• Lebanon Valley (7-9, 2-5 MAC Commonwealth) scored the game's first six points and led 9-3 3:29 in.
• Stevenson (5-11, 2-5 MAC Commonwealth) scored 12 straight points to build a 15-9 lead with 10:54 left following a Cornelius Bobo layup.
• The Mustangs held the Dutchmen scoreless for nearly six minutes until a basket with 10:35 on the clock.
• LVC took a 19-17 lead on a pair of Mason Green free throws at the 7:51 mark.
• Cam Harris connected on a three to put Stevenson back in front, 20-19, but the lead was short-lived, as the guests went back in front on a Justin Baker triple on their next possession with 6:03 left before halftime.
• Stevenson scored the next five points and went up 25-21 on a Drew Miller basket with 4:32 left.
• Jaylin Johnson hit a three with 3:55 remaining to put Stevenson on top 28-23.
• Lebanon Valley closed the half on a 15-0 run to take a 38-28 lead to intermission.

• LVC outscored Stevenson 13-2 over the first four minutes of the second half to build a 51-30 lead.
• Back-to-back threes by Norman Hughes and Harris capped an 11-2 run and pulled the Mustangs within 12, 53-41, with 13:44 on the clock.
• The Dutchmen responded with nine straight points to again build a 21-point lead, 62-41, with 11:33 to go.
• Stevenson outscored the visitors 14-4 over the next four and a half minutes and a conventional three-point play by Mark Terrell with 6:53 to go pulled the hosts within 11, 66-55.
• A fast-break layup by Evan Joseph with 4:10 left made it a 67-59 game.
• A Hughes three, his sixth of the afternoon, cut the lead to five, 69-64, with 2:45 on the clock.
• Green responded with a three on LVC's next possession to put it back up eight.
• Isaiah Oshinnaiye made it a 73-66 game with a basket with 1:59 left, but the Mustangs got no closer.

• Lebanon Valley shot exactly 50% in both halves, going 12-24 in the first frame and 13-26 over the final 20 minutes.
• Stevenson shot 41% for the game and was 11-31 behind the arc, while LVC made seven of its 16 three-point attempts.
• The Dutchmen took twice as many trips to the free throw line, going 20-26, while Stevenson was 5-13.
• The Mustangs held a 36-33 rebound advantage.
• Hughes led the Mustangs in scoring for the sixth time this season with 18 points, going 6-13 behind the arc.
• Terrell finished with 10 points and four rebounds.
• Harris was 3-7 behind the arc and recorded nine points, while Bobo had eight points and a career-high eight rebounds.
• Joseph and Oshinnaiye contributed seven points apiece.
