Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Freshman Shannon Baily and senior Katie Leftridge each recorded 15 kills as the Stevenson women's volleyball team remained unbeaten with a 3-1 win over Messiah College in MAC Commonwealth women's volleyball Tuesday night at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
- Messiah (8-3, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) scored the first three points of the set and led 8-3 following a Mustang attack error.
- Stevenson (10-0, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) scored eight of the next 10 points to take an 11-10 lead on a solo block by Victoria Prokic.
- The Falcons scored the next two points to reclaim the lead.
- The hosts used a 7-0 run capped by a Sarah Straub kill to take a six-point lead, 19-13. Messiah called a timeout at 16-13 but the Mustangs scored three more points after that.
- Messiah earned the next two points to get within four, but back-to-back Falcon errors made it 21-15 in favor of Stevenson.
- Stevenson maintained at least a five-point cushion in the remainder of the frame and a Simone Gest kill closed things out.
- Stevenson scored five straight points to build a 10-4 lead following a Falcon attack error.
- A kill by Gest put the Mustangs up 23-10.
- Messiah used an 8-1 run to climb back within six, 24-18.

- A Natalie Mansch kill kept Messiah alive with the 25-23 win.
- With the set tied 5-5, Stevenson used an 8-1 run capped by back-to-back Messiah attack errors to open up a 13-6 lead.
- After the Falcons posted a pair of points to make it 13-8, the Mustangs reeled off five straight, with a Darian Hileman service ace pushing the lead to 10, 18-8.
- Down 20-12, the Falcons made a late push to get within four, 21-17, but the Mustangs had the final three points and a Baily kill ended things.
- Stevenson hit .299 for the match, while the Falcons hit at a .123 clip.
- Baily hit .464 on the night with two errors on 28 swings, while Leftridge hit .357. Leftridge also had 14 digs.
- Gest had 12 kills and five digs.
- Blevins chipped in with 10 kills and five digs.
- Prokic added seven kills and five blocks. She now has 349 blocks for her career, seven shy of the program record of 356.
- Hileman posted 12 digs and a pair of service aces.
- Julie Nightwine handed out 28 assists while Caroline Dangel handed out 23.
- Stevenson is 58-0 in MAC Commonwealth regular season play and 72-0 against league foes including the conference tournament.
