Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Arcadia, the first place team in the MAC Commonwealth men's basketball standings, closed with a 15-6 run to down Stevenson 79-78 at Owings Mills Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
- Stevenson (12-7, 6-4 MAC Commonwealth) held a 7-6 lead just under four minutes into the game following a basket by Evan Joseph.
- Arcadia (16-3, 10-0 MAC Commonwealth) used a 17-4 run capped by a Steve Pendelton putback to go up 23-11 at the 10:56 mark.
- The Mustangs pulled within seven, 23-16, at the 9:10 mark on a three by Marcus Dentley.
- Trailing 32-20, a 7-1 Mustang run capped by two free throws by Mark Terrell pulled the hosts within five with 3:10 left before intermission.
- Stevenson trailed 37-32 at halftime following a basket by Bo Wesley with eight seconds left.
- An early 7-2 Stevenson spurt tied the game 39-39 at the 17:23 mark on a Terrell basket.
- The Mustangs took their first lead of the second half, 51-49, on two Joseph free throws with 10:55 left to play.
- Terrell's basket with 7:25 to go capped a 6-0 run and put the Mustangs up 57-51.
- Leading 66-64, back-to-back three-pointers by Montaque Wright at 2:57 and 2:32 pushed Stevenson's lead to eight, 72-64.

- Cam Harris sank two free throws with 15 seconds left to make it 78-75.
- With eight seconds left, a Mustang foul followed by a technical sent Scott to the line for four free throws. He missed the first two but made the second two to again pull the guests within one.
- Davis converted a layup with 2.4 seconds left to give Arcadia the lead, and Stevenson could not cleanly inbound the ball as the Knights came up with a steal to seal the win.
- Stevenson shot 44.6% overall and 7-17 behind the arc. The Mustangs made five fewer trips to the free throw line, going 21-26 while the Knights were 22-31.
- Arcadia was 40.6% overall and 5-14 from long range.
- The Mustangs held a 38-36 rebound advantage, but committed 16 turnovers to 10 for the guests, leading to a 16-6 lead in points off turnovers for Arcadia.
- Terrell led Stevenson with 20 points, going 6-12 from the floor and 8-12 at the free throw line.
- Dentley finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. His 13 boards match a career high.
- Joseph totaled a season-high 14 points, while Wright knocked down three three-pointers and added nine points and five assists.
