READING, Pa. – No. 25 Stevenson University swept Albright College in MAC Commonwealth women's volleyball 3-0 Tuesday night at the Bollman Center.  The Mustangs (23-1, 6-0 MAC Commonwealth) extended their win streak to 11 matches.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Stevenson used all 18 players on the roster in Tuesday's victory.  Freshman Jessi Freeman finished with nine kills, while senior Annika Schwartz registered seven kills in two sets of action.  Schwartz and sophomore Julie Nightwine each had three service aces, with Nightwine handing out nine assists.  Sophomore Caroline Dangel finished with 10 assists, while sophomore Emily Castro also finished with nine.

Albright (3-16, 0-5) was led by Kellie Hill's eight kills.

Stevenson did not trail over the first two sets and scored the first nine points of the second set.  In the third set, the Mustangs led 15-14 when they took advantage of three straight Lion attack errors to go up 18-14.  Albright pulled within two, 21-19, but got no closer, and a kill by senior Lauren Weaver closed out the match.

The Mustangs hit .178 as a team, including .333 in the second set, while holding the hosts to an -.050 hitting percentage.  It was the first time Stevenson held an opponent to a negative hitting percentage since the season opener against Medaille.

Stevenson is idle until next Wednesday when it hosts Lebanon Valley College in a 7:00 MAC Commonwealth contest at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
