HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Stevenson women's volleyball freshman Annika Schwartz totaled 23 kills as the Mustangs dropped back-to-back matches versus No. 17 Eastern and No. 10 Juniata Saturday afternoon in the Wid Guisler Invitational at Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Juniata College.

The Mustangs (24-5) fell for the second time this season to Eastern, 16-25, 22-25, 11-25) before falling to host Juniata 26-28, 25-18, 20-25, 19-25. Stevenson is 0-3 this season against teams ranked in the AVCA Division III Coaches Top 25 Poll.

In game one versus Eastern (24-5), the Mustangs posted a season-low .009 hitting percentage and 26 kills. Schwartz totaled a team-high 10 and leads the team with 247 this season. For the first time this season, freshman Lauren Weaver was held without a kill.

Senior Samantha Perillo totaled a team-high 11 digs while sophomore Sara Bollinger posted 23 assists.

Eastern posted a .319 hitting percentage, the 11th time they have hit over .300. Lauren Sproles totaled a match-high 13 kills while Lauren Horst added 11 digs.

Versus host Juniata (23-7), Schwartz totaled 13 kills while senior Megan Miller added 10. Miller has totaled double digit kills in six of the last ten games. Meanwhile, Perillo totaled a team-high 19 digs.

Juniata was led by Nakita Gearhart who finished with a match-high 17 kills while Brittani Young totaled 26 digs.

Perillo was named to the All-Tournament Team after finishing with 30 digs and three assists.
