Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Led by six kills and six digs from senior Megan Miller and 13 digs and four services aces from senior Samantha Perillo, the Stevenson women's volleyball team remained unbeaten in Commonwealth Conference play with a 25-11, 25-10, 25-11 victory over Arcadia Wednesday at Owings Mills Gymnasium on senior night.
The Mustangs (22-3, 7-0 MAC) are now 23-0 in three seasons in the Commonwealth Conference, including 9-0 at home where the team has won back-to-back conference championships.
Miller and Perillo, were honored in ceremonies prior to tonight's game, have amassed a 127-13 record in their careers while making three-straight appearances in the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship. They have also led Stevenson to its highest-ever ranking in the AVCA Division III Coaches Poll at No. 18 in 2013.
A total of nine players had at least one kill against the Knights (13-7, 2-5 MAC), led by seven from freshman Lauren Weaver. Sophomore Kelly McKenzie and freshman Annika Schwartz each had seven.
Sophomore Sara Bollinger had 15 assists and freshman Karin Schleimer added 12 while sophomore Kristen Brooks totaled 10 digs for 10th time this season.
Stevenson limited Arcadia to just six digs and a minus-.281 hitting percentage. Colleen Stengel had three kills while Natalie Cadmus had two kills and nine digs. Sami Evans had 10 digs.
The Mustangs travel to Juniata this weekend for the Wid Guisler Invitational. Stevenson opens against Carnegie Mellon on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
