Box Score CHESTER, Pa. - Senior Samantha Perillo totaled a game-high 26 digs as the Stevenson women's volleyball posted its 22nd-straight victory in two-plus seasons in the Commonwealth Conference with a straight-set, 25-23, 25-22, 25-21 victory over Widener Tuesday evening at Schwartz Center.
The Mustangs (19-3, 4-0) posted their 13th straight-set victory this season and 18th in the Commonwealth Conference. It was also the second victory over the Pride (5-19, 23 MAC) this season.
The trio of senior Megan Miller, sophomore Kristen Brooks and freshman Annika Schwartz each posted nine kills. Schwartz added 11 digs while Miller totaled two service aces. Meanwhile, sophomore Alexis Gibbs tied her career-high with seven kills while setting a new career-high with three total blocks.
Sophomore Sara Bollinger finished with 37 assists and eight digs.
Widener had three players finish with at least 13 digs, including Victoria Miller who had a team-high 19. Brooke Ruditys totaled nine kills and 14 digs.
Stevenson continues its four-game road trip on Thursday, October 16 when the Mustangs travel to Catholic for a non-conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
