Box Score 2 GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Stevenson women's volleyball team picked up two more wins at the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic, finishing unbeaten with straight set victories over Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) and Shenandoah Saturday at Bream Wright Hauser Athletic Complex.
The Mustangs (4-0) were one of three teams to finish the tournament undefeated along with Salisbury and Bridgewater. Stevenson and the Seagulls both swept all four of their matches.
Stevenson defeated the Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) 25-17, 25-8, 25-13 before posting a 25-12, 25-10, 25-19 win against the Shenandoah.
Sophomore Imani Hudson (Burke, Va./Thomas Edison) and senior Christine Isenberg (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) were both named to the All-Tournament team.
Against the Knights (0-4), Hudson led the Mustangs with 16 kills while Isenberg added 11. Junior Samantha Perillo (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) finished with a game-high 20 digs.
In game two, both Hudson and Isenberg led the team over the Hornets (3-1) with nine kills a piece. Together they have totaled 74 kills and 40 digs in just four games.
Stevenson will plays its home opener on Wednesday, September 4 when they host a Commonwealth Conference match-up aginast Widener beginning at 7:00 p.m. Last season the Mustangs defeated the Pride 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.
