Box Score CHESTER, Pa. - Stevenson field hockey seniors Allyson Moody (New Windsor, Md./Westminster) and Alison Kagel (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) both tallied goals in a 2-0 victory over Widener in the Mustangs first Commonwealth Conference contest this season Saturday at Edith R. Dixon Field.
The Mustangs are now 2-0 against the Pride (3-6) since joining the Commonwealth Conference a season ago. The win also snapped a two game road losing streak.

Kagel scored her third game-winning goal just 4:53 into the second half on a team-leading fourth assist from junior Caitlin Dempsey (Fallston, Md./Fallston). Both Kagel and Dempsey have three game-winning goals this season.
Moody added an insurance goal at the 51:39 mark after tapping in a deflection from sophomore Melissa Doering (Street, Md./North Harford).
Freshman Gabriella Brooks (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill) totaled five first half saves, three shy of her career best.
Stevenson returns to action on Tuesday, October 1 when they travel to face Gettsyburg in a non-conference contest beginning at 4:30 p.m.
