Box Score 2 OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Led by 18 kills and 17 digs by senior Christine Isenberg (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key), the No. 20 Stevenson women's volleyball team picked up two straight set victories over Gettysburg and Virginia Wesleyan Sunday at Owings Mills Gymnassium.
The Mustangs (32-1) posted a 25-14, 25-20, 25-19 victory over Gettysburg and a 25-14, 25-15, 25-18 win against Virginia Wesleyan.
In game one against the Bullets (13-13), Isenberg and sophomore Imani Hudson (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) combined for 25 kills.
Junior Samantha Perillo (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) totaled 21 digs, her 13th time this season with 20 or more. Meanwhile, senior Jessica Gieselman (Westminster, Md./Westminster) finished with 44 assists.
Against the Marlins (15-12), junior Megan Miller (Middletown, Del./St. George's Tech) finished with a game-high 10 kills.
Perillo and Isenberg combined for 28 digs.
Stevenson wraps up the regular season on Saturday, November 2 with a tri-match at Marymount (Va.) with the host Saints and Christopher Newport beginning at 4:00 p.m.
