Amy Tamarana Scores Lone Goal as Mustangs Fall on the Road at McDaniel, 2-1

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Stevenson field hockey freshman Amy Tamarana (Toms River, N.J./Toms River) scored the go-ahead goal with 17 seconds left in the first half, however, McDaniel scored twice in three minutes midway during the second half to prevail 2-1 Wednesday night at Gill Stadium.

The Mustangs (2-2) suffered its third consecutive one-goal loss at the hands of McDaniel and is 0-4 in the all-time series.

Tamarana notched her second goal of the season in front of the cage off a penalty corner with a helper from junior Allyson Moody (New Windsor, Md./Westminster).

The Green Terror (3-2) scored their two goals just 3:16 apart on a redirect from the arc and a penalty corner, one of seven on the night.

Stevenson returns to action Saturday night when they host Shenandoah at Mustang Stadium.  Game time is 6:00 p.m.
