OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson women's volleyball senior Avery Gabbard (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) totaled 16 kills and nine digs as the Mustangs defeated Lycoming 25-21, 25-17, 25-14 Friday at Owings Mills Gymnasium in the semifinals of the 2012 Commonwealth Conference Volleyball Championship.

With the win, Stevenson (34-2) advances to its second-straight conference championship game after advancing to the title game of the Capital Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship a year ago.

The Mustangs also extended their overall winning streak to 18 games and their home winning streak to 21.
