Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson women's volleyball senior Amy Rudolph (North East/Rising Sun) had nine assists while sophomore Stacey Rex (Finksburg/Westminster) had five kills as the Mustangs won their school-record 16th consecutive game with a 25-16, 25-12, 25-14 victory over Wesley Thursday at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
Stevenson (28-2, 7-1 CAC) wrapped up conference play with a five-game win streak and will be the No. 2 seed in next week's CAC Volleyball Championship. The team is just three wins shy of the school record for a single-season.
Sophomore Christine Isenberg (Taneytown/Francis Scott Key) had seven kills and nine digs for the Mustangs who trailed just once at 1-0 in the third set en route to their 11th win in 13 home games this season.
During its 16-game win streak, Stevenson has won 12 games and seven of their 13 at home in straight sets.
Junior Avery Gabbard (Arnold/Broadneck) added six kills and five digs while senior Jamie Krens (Owings Mills/Franklin) had six digs. Senior Jen Glock (Westminster/Westminster) had four kills.
The Mustangs wrap-up the regular season in Glassboro, New Jersey this Saturday with a tri-match at Rowan. The team takes on the host Profs at 1:00 p.m., before facing Gwynedd-Mercy at 3:00 p.m.
Following a first round bye in the 2011 CAC Volleyball Championship, Stevenson will host the winner of the sixth-seed, St. Mary's (Md.) or York (Pa.), and the third-seed, Frostburg State, in the semifinals on Thursday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m.
