Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - Stevenson women's volleyball junior Kristen Lubeski (Bishopville/Stephen Decatur) totaled a season-high six kills while senior Jamie Krens (Owings Mills/Franklin) had a career-high 11 digs as the Mustangs posted a convincing 25-10, 25-11, 25-12 CAC road victory over Hood Tuesday at Gambrill Gymnasium.
Stevenson (25-2, 5-1 CAC) extended its overall winning streak to 13, two shy of the school record, and its road winning streak to 16. Of the team's 25 wins, 20 have come in three sets.
Junior Avery Gabbard (Arnold/Broadneck) led the Mustangs with 12 kills as she was the only player in double figures. Sophomore Christine Isenberg (Taneytown/Francis Scott Key) finished with seven kills and nine digs. She also added four service aces.
As a team, Stevenson had a .307 hitting percentage, the seventh time this season that it has been over .300.
Meanwhile, Hood (9-12, 1-5 CAC) totaled 23 attack errors compared to only 16 kills as it posted a minus-.064 attack percentage. The team also had nine reception errors.
Brittany Lethbridge and Alyssa Eshleman combined for 11 of the Blazers' 16 kills with six and five, respectively. Eshelman also had 10 digs while Lethbridge added eight.
The Mustangs put their road winning streak to the test on Saturday when they travel to Mary Washington for a key CAC contest beginning at noon. The Eagles are currently fourth in the conference standings, one game behind Stevenson.
