Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - One night after missing an opportunity to win the game, Stevenson men's basketball senior Greg Woody (Baltimore/Mount St. Joseph) made the most of a second chance as his fade jumper at the right elbow as time expired gave the Mustangs a 65-64 victory over CAC rival Hood in the third place game of the Pride of Maryland Championship Saturday at Caves Athletics Complex.
Woody scored 16 of his team-high 18 points in the second half as Stevenson (2-1) rallied from a seven-point deficit with 4:57 remaining. His three-pointer with 1:05 left gave the Mustangs their first lead since the 17:10 mark of the first half, 61-60.
Woody was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 18.0 points, 5.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds in three tournament games while leading the Mustangs to their best finish since they won the inaugural Pride of Maryland Championship in 2005.
