STEVENSON, Md. - Stevenson men's basketball junior Patrick Lewis (Timonium/Dulaney) scored 15 of his career-high 19 points in the second half, including six on back-to-back three-pointers to erase a four-point deficit as the Mustangs snapped an 11-game losing streak with a 70-63 victory over Gallaudet Wednesday at Student Union Gymnasium.

The win also snapped a 10-game home losing streak for Stevenson (2-17, 2-8 CAC) dating back to a 64-60 win over the Bison on Feb. 4, 2009. The Mustangs have posted three wins since then, all coming against Gallaudet.

Stevenson led by as many as 14 in the first half, 30-16 with 3:48 remaining, before the Bison (4-12, 0-10 CAC) outscored the Mustangs 33-15 to take their first lead of the game and extending it to four, 49-45 with 10:12 left in the second.

Lewis then hit back-to-back three-pointers to put Stevenson back in front to stay at 51-49 with 8:21 to play.

Freshman forward Danny Murphy (Severn/Glen Burnie) added 12 points and six rebounds while freshman center Andrew Bishop (Lothian/Southern) finished with a career-high 11 points.

Junior guard Andy Shelly (York, Pa./West York) had nine points on three three-pointers and junior guard Broderick Hill (Bowie/Bishop McNamara) had seven points and six assists. Sophomore center Keith Holtman (Baltimore/Eastern) totaled four blocks to increase his CAC-leading season total to 38.
