WASHINGTON, D.C. - Stevenson University women's
volleyball sophomore Dani Katsampis (New Windsor/Francis
Scott Key) came off the bench to contribute eight kills
while posting a .429 hitting percentage as the Mustangs won their
13th-straight match, 3-1 Tuesday night over Gallaudet at the Field
House.
Stevenson (13-0), who is off to the best start in program
history, defeated the Bison 24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 27-25, a year
after losing at home, 3-0.
Junior Brittany Umetin (Havre de Grace/Mt.
Zion) added 38 assists, six kills and a team-high 15 digs.
She also had an ace on game point to give the Mustangs their final
point and the victory.
