Villa Julie took on local rival and conference foe St.
Mary's College, falling 6-3. St. Mary's grabbed the
first half 4-0. The Mustangs earned three goals in the second half
to St. Mary's two. Krissy Leventis
(Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Lutheran), Katelyn
Manocheh (Baldwin, MD/Maryvale), and Jennifer
Sauers (Baltimore, MD/Perry Hall) scored one goal each
with assists also by Leventis and
Sauers. Goalkeeper Kara Zimmerman
(Odenton, MD/Arundel) tallied five saves.
The Mustangs are back in action on Sunday, September 9 as they
host Randolph-Macon College for a 1 p.m. game.
