Allentown, PA - This weekend the Mustangs continued their
winning ways with victories over Marywood University and Cedar
Crest College. The Mustangs played with confidence and skill
as they dispatched each foe 3-0.
Sophomore setter, Brittany Umetin led the charge
with a combined effort in both matches of 70 assists, 16 digs, and
6 aces as she orchestrated the offense to perfection. Junior
OH, Alana Eller contributed 25 kills and 13 digs
as she displayed a wide variety of offensive shots. Sophomore
OH, Marisa Bender and freshman middle hitter
Alex Mercer combined for an additional 32 kills.
Junior Libero, Julie Olson unleashed a
devastating serve and posted 9aces.
The Mustangs now post a 11-3 record and travel to Hood College for
a huge conference match at 7:00 on Tuesday.
