Today's opening game matched the Delaware Valley
College Aggies against the Wells College Express. The Aggies
were able to secure a decisive 13-0 victory, outscoring the Express
6-0 in the first half and 7-0 in the second. Bethany Pavlik,
a sophomore midfielder from Lewes, DE, scored 5 goals and made one
assist for Delaware Valley. Beth Cereo, Wells' senior goalie
from Port Byron, NY, was able to make six saves as Delaware
Valley's offense fired 24 shots against her.
The remainder of today's games include Johns Hopkins University
vs. SUNY-Courtland at 12 noon, Fairleigh Dickinson University vs.
Rhodes College at 2:00 p.m., and the hosting Villa Julie Mustangs
vs. Bridgewater College at 6:00 p.m. The tournament
championship will be played tomorrow at 4:00 p.m.
