Salisbury University at home, 3-1.
The Mustangs took the first game 30-27. The three following games
were in Salisbury's favor with line scores of 30-18, 30-19,
and 30-22.
Villa was led by Brittany Umetin (Havre de Grace, MD/Mt.
Zion) with 25 set assists and 15 digs. Danielle
Katsampis (New Windsor, MD/Francis Scott Key) and
Alex Mercer (Eldersburg, MD/Liberty) led
offensively with 12 kills each.
The Mustangs return to the court on October 6 at York with a 2:00
p.m. start.
