Owings Mills, MD.- Carly Walko and Jayme Dinsmore conspired twice to foil Villa Julie in Capital Athletic Conference field hockey on Saturday. The pair hooked up for a pair of first half goals to improve the Cardinals' record to 8-6 (4-1 CAC). Villa fell to 5-9 (1-4 CAC).

The Cardinals wasted little time getting on the board. Walko tallied the game winner just 77 seconds into the game.

Catholic out-shot their hosts 27-2 and had a 9-1 advantage in penalty corners. Kaitlin Brzozowski (Bel Air, MD / Fallston) stopped six shots, three in each half, while Emily Pullarn (Perry Hall, MD / Perry Hall) and Chelsea Eldreth (Bel Air, MD / John Carroll) were each credited with a defensive save.

Villa returns to action on Tuesday when the Mustangs' host Salisbury in Conference play.
