Stevenson, MD- Villa Julie swept
Lancaster Bible 3-0 (30-13, 30-20, 30-19) in women's volleyball
Thursday evening. The sweep marks Villa's tenth blanking of an
opponent this fall, and improved the Mustangs' record to 14-8 on
the season. The Chargers fell to 5-15.
Katie Benham (Rising Sun, MD / Rising Sun)
recorded a match-high 12 kills, while Marissa
Bender (Hagerstown , MD / S. Hagerstown ) posted 10.
Bender came up with seven digs as well. Carol
Moore (Catonsville , MD / Arlington Baptist) sparked the
offense with eight aces.
Villa returns to action on Saturday for a tri-match with
Polytechnic and Philadelphia Bible.
