ANNVILLE, Pa. – Freshman Dyonne Hicks of the Stevenson University women's outdoor track and field team was named the Middle Atlantic Conference outdoor track Track Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Hicks set a pair of school records and was part of three first place finishes at Saturday's Goucher Classic as the Mustangs took home the team title. She was part of the winning 4x100 (49.08) and 4x400 (4:12.02) relay teams, and finished second in the 400-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 1:07.40. She also took down first with a school-record 5.44 meter leap in the long jump.
Stevenson returns to action Thursday when it competes at the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary. The Mustangs are also scheduled to compete in Widener's Danny Curran Invitational and the Millersville Metric this weekend.
