Hammond Places 17th in Long Jump at NCAA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Ma. - Junior Kimberly Hammond took 17th overall with a top leap of 5.07m in the long jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Hammond, who won the long jump at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Championships with a national-qualifying distance of 5.68m, is just the second athlete in program to qualify for nationals in the long jump (Cierra Roberts - 2017). Hammond took second in the event at the 2019 MAC Indoor Championships (5.57m).
