SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Stevenson women's track and field freshman Cierra Roberts set two school records at the Susquehanna University Challenge, held at the James W. Garrett Sports Complex. The Mustangs set four school records on the day.
Roberts' school-record time of 26.67 in the 200m dash, which also qualified her for ECAC's, gave her second place overall in the event. She also qualified for ECAC's after setting a new school mark in the long jump with a top leap of 5.25m. Roberts took fourth overall in the event.
Freshman Dyonne Hicks just missed qualifying for the finals of the 60m hurdles with a school-record time of 9.75 seconds. Hicks also took ninth in the triple jump with a hop, skip and jump of 10.00 meters.
In the 4x800, sophomore Kayla Bias, freshman CJ Morris, freshman Ochol Adolla and sophomore Mary Sam combined to set a new school record with a time of 10:13.05. The group finished fourth in the event.
Sophomore Jess Rega set a personal record in the shot put with a top toss of 12.91m, which gave her second place overall in the event. Freshman Hammond set a personal mark in the long jump with a leap of 5.09m.
Lockley clocked an 8.36 in the 60m dash prelimaries, which gave her ninth overall.
Odolla ran an 11:28.44 in the 3000, which gave her 12th overall in the event.
The Mustangs compete next in the two-day David Henry Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11.
