Sewell Wins Shot Put, Throwers Perform Well at Dutchmen Invitational

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Stevenson women's track and field junior Rodne't Sewell took first overall in the shot put with a top toss of 10.29m at the Dutchmen Invitational, hosted by Lebanon Valley. Sewell's throw was also a personal best.

The Mustangs were also impressive in the weight throw, where they had three athletes finish second through fourth place in the event. Sophomore Ariana Engerman finished second in the event with a personal-best throw of 13.26 meters. Sophomore Alison Bishop took third with a personal-best toss of 13.24, while sophomore Lauren Dioses finished fourth with an 11.99m throw.

Stevenson competes next at the Orange & Maroon Classic, hosted by Susquehanna on Saturday, January 21.
