ANNVILLE, Pa. - After earning the No. 3 in the upcoming MAC Commonwealth playoffs, the Stevenson women's soccer team had three players named to the All-Conference Teams, including senior Brianna Christie who was named to the First Team, announced by the league on Wednesday.
In addition to Christie, seniors Marissa Inglisa and Rylie Patterson, and junior Keegan Caffrey were named Honorable Mention. In eight seasons in the conference, the Mustangs have had 38 all-conference selections.
Christie earns her first all-conference selection after ranking tied for second in the league play with six goals. Her six goals also leads the team while her 13 points are tied for first. Christie netted three straight game-winning goals in conference play, which ranks tied for first in league action, including scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Lebanon Valley.
Inglisa earns her first all-conference selection after sharing the team lead with 13 points. She recorded six points in conference play, scoring two goals and dishing out two assists. Inglisa ranks inside the top-20 in league action in points, assists, shots, and shots on goal.
Patterson earns her first all-conference selection after anchoring a defense that posted five shutouts in conference play. Overall, the team had seven shutouts. Patterson has played all but 16 minutes this season on defense, registering 1,646 minutes of action.
Caffrey earns her first all-conference selection after posting a 5-2-1 record in conference play. She has four solo league shutouts, which is a league-best, and six overall. Caffrey also has one shared shutout in league action. She has totaled 101 saves this season, two shy of her career-best.
Third-seeded Stevenson will travel to second-seeded Arcadia on Thursady, November 7 in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals beginning at 7:00 p.m. The two teams finished in a 1-1 double overtime tie on Saturday.
