ANNVILLE, Pa. - Stevenson women's ice hockey seniors Cierra Siemasko and Kellen Wittman were named to the Academic All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Women's Ice Hockey Team announced by the league on Tuesday. The duo were two of 12 players to be named to the team.
The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and on the field during the 2019 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success.
Siemasko, the fourth captain in program history, finished her career with ranked tied for sixth with 53 points on 21 goals and 32 assists. This season, she totaled 19 points on six goals and 13 assists, while netting three power play goals and two game-winning goals.
Wittman, a fifth-year senior, was named the MAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year and finished fourth in program history with 62 points, second with 37 goals and tied for seventh with 25 assists. Wittman, the MAC Women's Ice Hockey Senior Scholar Athlete, also ranks tied for fifth with 10 power play goals while setting the single season record this year with nine. A two-time all-conference selection this season, Wittman was named to the All-MAC First Team as well as a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) honorable mention selection.
