Oppenheimer Wins For Fourth Time, Sets School Record in Mustang Victory at Dickinson Fall Invite

CARLISLE, Pa. - Sophomore Casey Oppenheimer picked up her third-straight victory and fourth overall with a program-record low score of 72 (E) at the Dickinson Fall Invitational, held at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course. Oppenheimer won the tournament by eight strokes over second-place Hannah Fireman of Gettysburg.

The Mustangs won the team title with a total score of 317, 27 better than second-place Gettysburg, giving them four team wins on the season. All four Mustang scorers finished in the top four. 

Senior Julia Kline placed third overall with an 81 (+9), giving her two top-five finishes on the season.

Sophomore Amanda Perez and junior Laura Rentz finished tied for fourth after both players carded 82's on the day. Perez now has four top-five's on the year, while Rentz has three. 

Freshman Holly Haber, who played as an individual, carded a season-best 85. 

Juniors Emma VanDeCar and Elise Glauser (played as individual) finished the day with scores of 86 and 87, respectively.

The Mustangs compete next at the Eastern Invitational, held at the St. David's Golf Club, on Wednesday, October 9. Tee time is set for 12:30 p.m.
