Zach Brown was named assistant men's and women's track and field coach at Stevenson in August 2018.
Brown spent the 2017-18 season at Dickinson, working with the Red Devil sprinters and hurdlers. Dickinson finished third overall at the Centennial Conference indoor and outdoor women's championships and fourth in both meets on the men's side.
Prior to Dickinson, Brown spent two seasons at Marywood. He coached a pair of conference champions with the Pacers and received his strength & conditioning certification from the U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association.
Originally, from Syracuse, New York, Brown had an outstanding career at Brockport as a student-athlete. He was a two-time All-American with the Eagles’ 4x100 relay squad, earning honors in 2014 and 2015.
He won titles with the 4x100 and 4x400 relays at the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships and captured State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) championships in the 400 meters and the 4x100. He broke five school records at Brockport and was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team in 2015.
Brown earned his specialist certifiction from the USTFCCCA for sprints, hurdles and relays while also holding a Strength and Conditioning certification.
A 2014 graduate of SUNY Brockport, Brown earned a B.S. in kinesiology with a minor in coaching and received an M.S. E.d in athletic administration in December of 2015.
