LEBANON, Pa. - Senior Patrick Watson picked up his second career victory with a personal-best 6k time of 18:23.42 at the Elizabethtown Short Course Invite, held at the Union Canal Tunnel Park. Watson, who has won his last two races, finished almost 12 seconds (11.99) ahead of the second-place runner. The Mustangs finished fifth overall in the team standings with 99 points.
Senior Nikita Kulick took 12th overall after clocking a personal best in the 6k with a time of 19:20.32, while senior Iddriss Iddriss finished just behind Kulick and in 16th with a time of 19:25.79. Iddriss' time was also a personal best for that distance.
Freshman Samuel Iseman picked up a top 25 finish with a time of 19:38.09, giving him 24th place.
Sophomore Taylor Farnsworth crossed the line in 21:08.40 to complete the team score for Stevenson.
Sophomore Anders Chattin completed the course in 21:29.38 for the Mustangs.
Dickinson took the team title with 35 points.
The Mustangs compete next at the Don Cathcart Invitational, hosted by Salisbury, on Saturday, October 5 at 9:45 a.m.
