Off The Block Preseason All-America Team

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson University men's volleyball junior Nate Reynolds was recently named a preseason All-American by Off The Block, a website that exclusively covers men's volleyball.  Reynolds was one of 15 players selected to the preseason All-America team.

Off the Block is a national award-winning website that was established in 2011 and is the nation's leader in college men's volleyball coverage.

The 16-member voting committee for this preseason honor was comprised of Division III men's volleyball head coaches from around the nation. The top 15 vote-getters from the committee's ballots earned a spot on the Preseason All-American Team.

Reynolds was an AVCA Second Team All-American last season as a sophomore as well as a Middle Atlantic Conference First Team All-Conference choice.  He totaled a team-high 134 blocks in 2019, ranking second in all of Division III in blocks per set at 1.276.  Reynolds also totaled 167 kills, good for fourth on the Mustangs, while hitting .397, second on the team.

Stevenson, which is ranked No. 14 in the AVCA Division III preseason poll, opens its 2020 campaign on Friday, January 17, facing Penn State Altoona at The Clash at Kean. The Mustangs are coming off a 30-4 2019 campaign.
