ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore JT Thelen and junior Dominic DeFazio of the Stevenson University men's lacrosse team swept MAC Commonwealth weekly honors on Monday.  Thelen was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week, while DeFazio was selected as Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Thelen, who leads the Mustangs with 46 goals and 23 assists for 69 points, totaled seven goals and a pair of assists in a 1-1 week.  He totaled two goals and an assist in a 7-5 loss at No. 18 Stevens on Tuesday, then recorded five goals and an assist in a 14-10 win at Messiah that secured the No. 1 seed in this week's MAC Commonwealth Championship for Stevenson.

DeFazio finished last week with six ground balls and five caused turnovers.  He recorded three caused turnovers and three ground balls against the Ducks, then notched three ground balls and two caused turnovers against the Falcons.  DeFazio leads Stevenson with 38 caused turnovers while his 57 ground balls rank second.

No. 17 Stevenson, 11-5 overall, returns to action Wednesday night when it hosts a MAC Commonwealth semifinal at 7:00 pm.
