Josh Maisel Named Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar

NORMAN, Okla. - Stevenson men's golf senior Josh Maisel was named a Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He was one of 61 scholars in Division III to be honored by the GCAA.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average under 79.0 in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Maisel is the first Mustang to receive the honor since 2015 when Will Ellis '15 earned the honor.

A two-time all-conference honoree, Maisel led the team with a 76.75 scoring average and posted eight top-10 finishes. He also recorded three top-five finishes, including second at the Goucher Spring Invitational.
