Wright joins the Mustangs for the 2017 season, serving as the team's graduate assistant. He will also serve as the team's recruiting coordinator.

A 2013 graduate of Stevenson, Wright played one season for the Mustangs after competing in three seasons for Centenary College. With the Cyclones, he earned Third Team All-State honors and First Team All-Freshman honors from the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association. Wright was also named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Academic Team in all three seasons.

Over his four-year career, Wright appeared in 127 games while making 81 starts. He totaled 87 hits, 55 runs, 153 RBIs, 20 doubles and two home runs.

During his time at Stevenson, Wright was the founding member of the Peer Education Program through Stevenson’s Wellness Center. Additionally, he served on the Drug and Alcohol Task Forceand was a featured guest-speaker for the President’s Cabinet and Board of Trustees at the University.

Following graduation, Wright completed 1,700 hours of community service with City Year Los Angeles where he tutored and mentored 6th Grade Students growing up in South Central Los Angeles. Additionally, he served as head counselor for Camp Ubuntu Watts, a summer camp program for middle school students growing up in the Watts community of South Central Los Angeles.

During the summer, Wright coaches for Baltimore Redbirds of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League and appears frequently at showcases and camps throughout the Baltimore Metro area.

Wright earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in human services.  He will complete his Master’s Degree in Communication Studies come May 2018.
