Newtown, Pa. (October 23) – The Stevenson women's basketball team was picked to finish sixth in the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Preseason Poll, announced by the conference office on Thursday morning.
Defending conference champion Messiah topped the poll with 45 points and five first-place votes, followed closely by Widener with 43 points and three first-place votes. York was selected third with 34 points, while Albright and Alvernia tied for fourth with 30 points each.
The Mustangs came in sixth with 18 points, ahead of Hood (14 points) and Eastern (10 points).
The MAC Commonwealth schedule will feature each team playing home-and-away contests against league opponents, culminating in the conference championship tournament in late February.
Stevenson looks to build on last season's progress under head coach
Jackie Boswell, returning a strong core of players and a mix of new talent ready to make an impact in conference play. The Mustangs open their 2025-26 campaign on Friday, November 7 at McDaniel.
