Scott Zema was appointed Associate Athletic Director at Stevenson University on January 2, 2013. Zema brings over 25 years of experience to Stevenson, after serving in progressive administrative roles at Slippery Rock University, Alfred University and Olivet College.
At Stevenson Zema oversees Compliance, Athletic Training and the Strength and Conditioning Staffs. In addition, he serves on the Senior Staff where he is involved with the Finance Committee, Budgeting, Operations and Scheduling. Zema also oversees the insurance and risk management for the department, and serves as the Department’s appointed Athletics Health Care Administrator (AHCA).
Zema was selected for the President’s Leadership Development Program (2014-15) and is an active participant of the Executive Development and Senior Leadership Program and Supervisor’s Roundtable Professional Development at Stevenson.
In 2015 Zema was appointed as an ATC Spotter with the NFL’s Player Health and Safety Department.
Zema is a past recipient of the Stevenson University Scott Linzey Staff Award (2013); NATA’s Service Award (2013) and Dan Libera Service Award for outstanding service to the BOC (2005).
Zema lives in Jacobus, PA with his wife Kerry, daughters Nora and Elliette and son Giovanni.
