Appleby, 4x100m Relay Team Set School Records at Morgan Stage Legacy Meet

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Stevenson women's 4x100m relay team of seniors Monee Hill, Josephine Adutwum, Christyna Falden and freshman Destiny Watts ran a combined time of 50.30 seconds to set a new school record at the Morgan State Legacy Meet. That time also earned the relay team a spot in the ECAC Outdoor Championships.

Also setting a new school record was freshman Brittany Appleby who ran a 5:02.63 in the 1500m run.

In the 100m dash, Hill and Adutwum ran personal best times of 13.07 and 13.16, while Watts ran a personal record of 13.55 seconds.

Hill, Watts and Falden also ran personal bests in the 200 with times of 26.83, 27.72 and 28.20 seconds.

Junior Lanie Swanhart ran personal best times of 5:09.92 and 1:05.52 in the 1500m run and 400m dash.

The Mustangs compete next in the Penn Relays held at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field starting on Thursday, April 23rd.
