Panek Sets School Record in 400, Rega Places Third in Shot Put at Swarthmore

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Freshman Rachel Panek set a new school mark in the 400m dash with a time of 59.22 seconds to finish eighth in the event at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier Meet.

Junior Jess Rega's toss of 12.87m in the shot put gave her third-place overall.

Sophomore Kimberly Hammond jumped a 5.24m in the long jump to finish eighth overall, while sophomore Dyonne Hicks leaped 10.60m to place eighth in the triple jump. 

Freshman Allison Krahe clocked a 2:21.20 in the 800 for Stevenson. 

The Mustangs continue their season at the ECAC Division III Outdoor Championships, hosted by Johns Hopkins, starting on Wednesday, May 16 through Thursday, May 17.
