Seven Mustangs Earn All-Conference Honors on Day Two of MAC Championships

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Stevenson women's outdoor track and field teams placed seven players on the all-conference teams on day two of the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by DeSales University.

The Mustangs currently sit in sixth place with 25.5 points just four points shy of Eastern who sits in fourth. Messiah is in first place with 69 points while Misericordia and Lebanon Valley round out the top-three with 61 and 40 points, respectively.

Five different Mustangs placed in the top-10 in the hammer throw, with sophomore Allison Bishop placing third with a throw of 39.70 meters to earn first team all-conference honors. Freshman Danika Ani earned second team honors after finishing fifth with a throw of 38.93 meters.

A trio earned all-conference honors in the long jump, including freshman Kimberly Hammond who earned first team honors after placing second with a jump of 5.51 meters. Freshman Cierra Roberts earned second team honors after finishing fourth while classmate Dyonne Hicks finished seventh.

Sophomore Meghan Incantalupo earned honorable mention honors with an eighth place finish in the high jump.

In the track events, the 4x100 meter relay team won its heat and finished second overall in the prelims with a time of 49.55.

Hammond finished fourth while Roberts finished sixth in the prelims of the 100-meter dash while freshman Jaleah Sydnor finished seventh in the prelims of the 400-meter dash. Meanwhile, sophomore Kelly Winklbauer placed second in the 800-meter prelims.

Roberts placed second in the 200-meter prelims while Hicks finished third in the 400-meter hurdle prelims, with a time of 1:06.80.

The MAC Championships conclude on Saturday, May 6 with the first event beginning at 12:30 p.m.
