Mustangs Win Centennial/MAC 4x400 at Penn Relays, Set School Record

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Stevenson women's track and field team took first overall and set a new school record in the Centennial/MAC 4x400m relay at the Penn Relays, held at Franklin Field. Freshmen Cierra Roberts, Kimberly Hammond, Dyonne Hicks and Jaleah Sydnor set the school mark with a combined time of 3:58.36, which also qualifies the group for the ECAC Outdoor Championships. 

Freshman Danika Ani took 14th overall in the shot put amongst 54 Division I, II and III student-athletes with a toss of 13.85m, which was her second-longest throw this season.  

Earlier in the day, the 4x100m relay team of Roberts, Hicks, Hammond and freshman Chalisse Lockley took fifth in their heat with a time of 49.56 seconds. 

The Stevenson men's track and field team competes on Friday, April 28 in the 4x100, 4x200 and the Pop Haddleton MAC 4x400m relay at Franklin Field, with the 4x100 starting at 12:35 pm.
