Winklbauer Breaks School Record in 1500, Qualifies for ECAC's at Morgan State Legacy

BALTIMORE, Md. - Stevenson women's track and field sophomore Kelly Winklbauer broke her own school record in the 1500 at the Morgan State Legacy meet. Winklbauer's time of 4:47.52 gave her sixth-place overall and a spot into the ECAC Outdoor Championships. 

In the shot put, sophomore Jess Rega tossed a 12.39m throw to take seventh place, while freshman Danika Ani threw a 12.28 to take eighth.

In the discus throw, Ani placed seventh with a distance of 36.09 meters.

Freshman Dyonne Hicks placed ninth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.60. Hicks missed qualifying for the finals by just .07 seconds. 

Freshman Cierra Roberts placed 15th in the long jump with a 4.99m leap. Roberts placed 16th in the 200 with a time of 26.09.

The Mustangs compete next at the Penn Relays, held at Franklin Field, starting on Thursday, April 27 through Friday, April 28.
