Roberts, Dioses Set School Records at Danny Curran Invitational

CHESTER, Pa. - Stevenson women's track and field freshman Cierra Roberts set a new school record in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.19 at the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener. Roberts finished second overall in the event.

Sophomore Lauren Dioses took third overall and broke her own school record in the hammer toss with a top throw of 48.07 meters. Sophomore Ariana Engerman and freshman Danika Ani threw personal bests of 39.73 and 39.38 to finish fifth and sixth overall. 

The 4x100m relay team of Roberts, Chalisse Lockley, Kimberly Hammond and Dyonne Hicks took fourth overall in event with a combined time of 49.93 seconds. 

In the triple jump, Hicks took fourth overall with a school record of leap of 10.69 meters, which was just .07 meters away from ECAC qualication. 

The shot put and discus events will take place on Sunday, April 2.
