ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore Jenna Skove of the Stevenson University women's tennis team was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. It marks the second time this season Skove has claimed the award.
Skove finished 3-0 at No. 1 doubles and 2-1 at No. 1 singles as the Mustangs went 2-1 on the week. She picked up singles and doubles wins over Messiah and Shenandoah and also earned a doubles triumph against Lycoming in a 5-4 win.
On the season Skove is 10-8 in doubles play and has six singles victories to her credit.
Stevenson (6-7, 3-1 MAC Commonwealth) is back in action Tuesday when it hosts Hood for a 4:00 MAC Commonwealth contest.
