Stuhltrager Wins Coach of the Year, Mustangs Place Sixth at MAC Championships

YORK, Pa. - The Stevenson women's swimming team set three more school records on the fourth and final day of the MAC Swimming Championships, held at the Graham Aquatic Center. Coach John Stuhltrager took home his second Coach of the Year honor while at Stevenson, after leading the Mustangs to a sixth-place finish in the team standings with 316 points.

Senior Colby Stein finished her collegiate career with a close second-place finish in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a school-record time of 2:04.97, which was just .75 seconds behind first-place Kaylee Hollenbach of Messiah. Junior Melanie Milam placed fourth in the event with 2:07.01.

Senior Julianna Burnett broke her own school record in the 200-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:29.09, which gave her third overall in the event. 

In the 200 Fly, senior Isabelle Ramsland clocked a school-record time of 2:11.20, giving her third place in the event.

To close out the meet, Stein, Burnett, Ramsland and Milam placed seventh in the 400 Free Relay with a combined time of 3:43.85.

Messiah took home the team championship with 648 points.
