Burnett Wins Two Individual Events in Tri-Meet Split Against Messiah, Immaculata

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - Senior Julianna Burnett picked up two individual event victories in Stevenson's tri-meet split to host Messiah (68-125) and Immaculata (122-32). Burnett touched the wall first in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a 25.97. In her 100-Yard Breaststroke victory, Burnett clocked a 1:10.95. 

To kick-off the meet, Burnett, seniors Colby Stein, Isabelle Ramsland and junior Melanie Milam dominated the field in the 400 Medley Relay with a combined time of 4:08.95, defeating second-place Messiah by 16.86 seconds. 

Ramsland picked up an individual win for the Mustangs in the 100 Fly with a 1:02.37. Freshman Emily Wolff took third in the event with a 1:08.56

Milam placed second in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:18.83, while Ramsland took third with a 2:19.67.

Stein placed second in the 100 Backstroke with a 1:02.41, while junior Bailey Hurt clocked a 5:58.48 in the 500 Free to take second place. 

The Mustangs compete next in a dual meet at Gallaudet on Saturday, January 19 at 1:00 p.m.
