Burnett, Ramsland, Milam from Women's Swimming Named Academic All-MAC

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Three members of the Stevenson University women's swimming team were named to the Academic All-MAC team released Tuesday by the Middle Atlantic Conference.  Juniors Julianna Burnett and Isabelle Ramsland and sophomore Melanie Milam were each named to the 10-member team.

Burnett, a Nursing major, was a four-time All-Conference performer for the Mustangs this season, including three Second Team performances.  She was Second Team in the 200-yard medley relay, 400 medley relay and 100-yard breaststroke, while earning Third Team accolades in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Ramsland, a Human Services major, had three All-Conference performances.  She was Second Team in the 200 and 400-yard medley relays and earned Third Team accolades in the 200 butterfly.

Milam, a Criminal Justice major, finished with four All-Conference performances in 2018.  She was a Second Team performer in the 200 and 400-yard medley relays and the 100-yard backstroke, while her performance in the 200-yard backstroke was good for a spot on the All-Conference Third Team.  Milam repeated as an Academic All-MAC selection, earning the honor in each of her first two seasons.

The Stevenson women's swimming team finished sixth out of 12 teams at the 2018 MAC Championship in February.
