Perez Wins Stevenson Spring Invite By Four Strokes

UPPERCO, Md. - Freshman Amanda Perez picked up her second career win by four strokes at the Stevenson Spring Invitational, held at the Piney Branch Golf Club. Perez, who carded an 11-over par 82 on the day, now has eight top 5 finishes. The host Mustangs took each of the first four spots on the leaderboard.

Due to other schools not having full squads for the tournament, each player competed as an individual.

Junior Julia Kline and sophomore Laura Rentz finished tied for second with scores of 86. Rentz now has six top 5 finishes on the year, while Kline has three.

Sophomores Emma VanDeCar and Elise Glauser carded round of 89 and 97 for Stevenson.

The Mustangs will tee off next at the two-day MAC Championship, held at the Mount Laurel Golf Club, starting on Saturday, April 27.
