Perez Finishes Tied for Third, Mustangs Second at McDaniel Spring Invite

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Freshman Amanda Perez carded an 83 in the second round of the McDaniel Spring Invitational, held at The Bridges Golf Club, to finish tied for third overall. Perez now has six top-five finishes on the year. The Mustangs finished just four strokes back of first-place Gettysburg, with a two-day team score of 694.

Junior Julia Kline shot an 87 to close out the tournament for a two-day total of 172, which earned her a fifth-place finish. Kline now has two top-five finishes on the season. 

Sophomore Laura Rentz finished sixth overall with a total score of 173. 

Sophomores Elise Glauser and Emma VanDeCar finished the tournament with total scores of 181 (+37), to finish tied for ninth overall. 

Hannah Fireman took the individual title with a total score of 165 (+21).

The Mustangs tee-off next at the Alvernia Spring Invitational, held at the Ledgerock Country Club, on Tuesday, April 2.
